not to copy leda, but favorite book is really hard! i’d say still life with woodpecker by tom robbins and also heart the lover by lily king. okay and maybe song of achilles by madeline miller!
I loved reading this interview, Henah! I love visiting bookstores while traveling. A Cappella Books is one of my favorite bookstores that also happens to be in Atlanta.
Favorite book is a challenge so I am going to break the rules and choose two: LOTR trilogy for the prose and display of healthy male friendship and The Overstory by Richard Powers because of the nature connection.
It's technically YA, but I've been loving the Little Thieves trilogy. They're the types of fantasy and mystery narratives I would have devoured when I was younger, and I'm so glad they exist
Loved this entire issue! I love Bookshop so this was fun to read. My favorite non-fiction is We Do This Til We Free Us - it CHANGED me and my perspectives on so many things, I go back to it frequently. Fiction…. Too many to count, but probably the one living closest in my heart is the Lady of Darkness series by Melissa Roehrich, the queen of romantasy!!
So hard to pick a favorite book, but two I loved and still think about constantly are "Demon Copperhead" by Barbara Kingsolver and "Overstory" by Richard Powers.
One of my favorite books of all time is the Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennet. I describe it as Attack on Titan meets Knives Out
You had me at Knives Out 👀
Also, loved the interview! Indie book stores forever 💕
How those two things get blended together is enough of a hook for me to immediately add that to my list!!
Favorite book is so hard! Anna Karenina but from what I read in the past year: heart the lover
heart the lover was SOOOO good!!!!! i drove 4 hours to hear lily king talk about it
Yessss, my level of dedication 😂
I read Heart the Lover all in one sitting 😭

Never heard of the Tom Robbins one 👀
his books are so underrated! skinny legs and all is another great one. in that one, a can of beans is one of the main characters!

One of my favorite books I have read this year so far is Elena Knows by Claudia Piñeiro.
I love these feature! The Midnight Library is a favourite book in our house. Our teenager read it first and demanded we all read it.
I loved The Midnight Library! I have The Midnight Train on hold at my library, and I'm planning to take it on my travels with me next week
I’m looking forward to reading his most recent one The Midnight Train

My favorite classic - Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury

I looooved The Secret Life of Addie LaRue, really good mystical element
Really tough to pick just one book but I'd have to go with Octavia Butler's Lillith's Brood.
My favorite book is The Great Gatsby, which I bought a classic copy of in a little bookshop while traveling in Southeast Asia ✨
I love reading so much, I couldn't possibly pick one favorite. My favorite book so far this year is The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow!
It's technically YA, but I've been loving the Little Thieves trilogy. They're the types of fantasy and mystery narratives I would have devoured when I was younger, and I'm so glad they exist
